The purpose of the Mineral Pride Society is to create and maintain a historical overview of the town of Mineral, Illinois.  This will include both factual and memorable occurences in the town's history.  Our goal is to preserve artifacts, historical writings, and, most importantly, the memories of those of us who grew up in our quaint, "small-town America" village of Mineral.
